We ran 2 miles over to Central Park and 2 miles back.  Those who ran all 6 laps ran 3 more miles for a total of 6 miles.

 

Group #1 got a 5-minute rest and the other two groups got a 6-minute rest in between their runs.

 

Kinsie, running for the first time in awhile due to an injury, ran a couple of one-lappers.  Johanna and Havana were running for the first time after being sick for about a week.  Aaron is starting to recover from a long illness.  Congrats to Chris Doan for completing the workout and he ran well.  Ross skipped the speed part of the workout due to pain in his foot (He ran Rancho yesterday).  Jesus skipped the first run due to tightness in his lower leg.  Several of you came close to bettering your PR hat you set when we ran a time trial on 9/2/11 for just 3 laps and did nothing more.  In fact Yonatan, Shaun Ino, Laura Martinez, Ashlee, and Karina broke their time trial PR as part of this workout.  Lalida stayed up to 3AM last night, went home to sleep during 6th and 7th periods and did not wake up until 6:30PM.

This was an In-Srvice day for the teachers with no school for the students.  So, we ran at 10AM.  All ran 2.3 miles to get to Bracher Park.  Some ran 1.6 miles back to school and others ran 0.6 miles back to school.  We did our drills when we reached the park.  Then we ran our 6 x 720.  Group 1 started every 5 ½ minutes and groups 2 and 3 started every 7 minutes.
