We ran 2 miles from the school to Central Park.  Then, after doing our drills, ran/walked the Central Park Invitational course.  We then split the runners into two groups and ran 2 x 950 with a rest in between runs while the other group was running their lap.  All were to run at easy/moderate effort.  Some did but others ran hard.  We completed the workout by running the 2 miles back to school.

The temperature was about 90 degrees today.  Some ran 2.0 miles to get to the

park.  Others ran 1.6 miles and others ran 0.6 miles.  Runners were placed in

groups, based upon their conditioning.  Pacesetters were selected for each run

and for each group.  (1) in parenthesis means that that person should have led

on the first run.  (2) means that that person should have led on the second

run for the group.  And, (3) means that that runner should have led for the

third run. All ran back to school on either the 0.6M, 1.6M, or 2.0M route.
